Children in Hospital Ireland urge the HSE and individual hospitals to communicate with families to help reduce the fear and anxiety which parents may feel and to ensure that parents and children are confident about when and how they will return for treatment or consultations.
For parents looking for information and guidance regarding hospitalisation and hospital appointments during the Coronavirus outbreak, Children's Health Ireland have released this statement for the Dublin's children's hospitals. Visitor restrictions remain in place for members of the public. Parents/guardians or those designated by parents/guardians can visit their children. Siblings and other children however, should not come to the hospital to visit. It is important that if you or a member of your family is self isolating you should contact the hospital before attending. https://www.olchc.ie/Children-Family/COVID-19-Message-for-Families-/
