Children in Hospital Ireland are delighted to announce that we are hosting our Annual Lecture once again. This will be our first in-person Annual Lecture since 2019.  This is an opportunity for attendees to expand their knowledge and explore how professionals, parents and children and young people can work together to help improve the experiences for children undergoing procedures in hospital.

Lucy Bray, Professor of Child Health Literacy at Edge Hill University in the UK will deliver the keynote address. Professor Lucy Bray will discuss her research into the development of standards, which aim to improve the care children receive when they undergo clinical treatment. Lucy led this global project through ongoing consultation with health professionals, academics, young people, parents, child rights specialists, psychologists and youth workers. The lecture will be followed by an expert panel discussion and a Q&A.
