Accommodation and Transport
Ronald McDonald House provides accommodation to families with a child up to 18 years old, currently receiving treatment at Children’s Health Ireland, Crumlin. Families must live more than 25 miles or more from House.
BUMBLEance provides transport for pre and post-surgical appointments, inter hospital transfers, respite and hospice trips, scheduled trips, chemo cab, transplants and critical care, angel trips.
Financial Resources and State Supports

Cliona’s Foundation provides financial assistance directly to parents of children with life-limiting or chronic complex care needs across Ireland to help with the non-medical expenses related to caring for their child.
Carer Supports
Family Carers Ireland supports family carers across Ireland including parents of children requiring medical treatment and care. Supports include information and guidance on supports available.
Care Alliance Ireland provides information and supports for family carers including Online Carer Support Group, guidance and training for returning to paid employment and other carer supports.
