We rely on the generosity of people like you to help us in our efforts to make hospital a happier place for children, and we need your support all year round so that we can continue to support children and young people in hospital and their families.
A stay in hospital for any child can be stressful and very frightening not only for the child but also for the parents. Every day, Children in Hospital Ireland volunteers provide activities and play for children of all ages in 14 paediatric units around the country.
Funds that you raise will support our work in a number of ways;
- purchasing much-needed art supplies, games and toys and will help to ensure we have adequate supplies throughout the year for all of the 13 hospitals in which we provide a play service
- helping us recruit, train, vet and support our team of 500 volunteers around the country
- developing information and supports for parents who have a child who requires hospitalisation
Children in Hospital Ireland are fully compliant with the Charities Regulator’s Governance Code. For further information on our work and to see our most recent annual report, please click here
After the year we have had we think we can face any challenge, so … with that in mind, if you want to set yourself a challenge to raise funds for Children in Hospital Ireland please get in touch by sending us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or complete our fundraising form below and we will get in touch with you.
Thank you. We look forward to supporting you.
